Who We Are?

Well, if you’ve made it this far we’re guessing you probably know who we are and are now very familiar with our love of leopard print.  What you may not know is that we take the privacy of our customers very seriously and consider it to be one of the most important aspects of running our website Tilbea London (“the site”).  We are in the business of selling clothes, not our customers information, so you can rest assured that we have no interest in selling, or swapping your personal data with other business for marketing or advertising purposes.  Please don’t just take our word for it, read our privacy policy to understand why we collect your data, how we use and store it and why, on limited occasions, it may be shared with third parties.

What Personal Data Do We Collect?

When you visit the Site we may collect and process the following personal data:
Your name, billing address, shipping address and any other information submitted when you make a purchase or sign up to a competition or Tilbea newsletter.

We will also collect the following information about your device:
Your web browser, IP address, time zone and may install some cookies on your device ( for more information on cookies please see below)

Why Do We Collect It?

We need to collect your personal data to ensure we can fulfil orders you place through the Site.  We will not collect any personal data over and above that which we require to fulfil our customer obligations.
We collect device data to ensure we can improve and optimise your experience of the Site.

What Do We Use It For?

Firstly, we use your personal data to send out all of lovely orders.
Secondly, if you have subscribed to our mailing list we will use that information to tell you about exciting new products, sales or competitions.
Thirdly, we may need to contact you for additional information, or to check our records or most importantly that we have a happy customer.

Finally we use MailChimp for all our email marketing, which is a secure emailing system that delivers all of our newsletters.  For more information on this please see MailChimps privacy policy.  If at any time you decide you don’t want to hear from us anymore, then all you need to do is press the unsubscribe button on the email or contact us directly.

How Long Do We Keep Data?

We are required to keep your personal data for a minimum of 6 years under UK Law.  However your personal information we use for marketing purposes will be retained for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Sharing Your Personal Data

We will only share your personal data with third party service providers to assist us in ensuring certain services are available to you.  For example we may use a third party to deliver your goods, or take payments online.  We will only ever use providers that we have confirmed apply appropriate data protection and security in accordance with Data Protection Legislation.

We use WooCommerce to power our the Site.  It is a dedicated and popular host for ecommerce and has its own privacy policy which can be found ( ).  Your personal data cannot be collected or accessed from the Site by WooCommerce without our consent.

We use PayPal & Stripe to process your payments on line.  They are both regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority so you already have protection in place for your purchase if you are using PayPal or Stripe through our Site.

We do not store your payment card details.


Sadly we aren’t talking about the salted caramel variety.  Cookies provide us with data from your device.  We use them to help us understand and improve the users experience of the Site.  A cookie is a small file that resides on your computer’s hard drive and often contains an anonymous unique identifier and is accessible only by the web site that placed it there, not any other sites.  You can choose to enable or disable Cookies in your web browser, it is entirely a matter for you.  This information will not identify you personally

When you visit the Site we use a third party provider,  Google Analytics, to help us understand how our customers use the Site.  They collect and process information in a way that does not identify anyone.

Since associates and other third parties (such as Paypal, Stripe and Google Analytics) may be involved, we always advise you to ensure that you are aware of their privacy policies too.

Your Rights

You can request access to the personal data we hold about you, at any time, and more importantly you can request that this information be updated, corrected or deleted.

This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
