Well, if you’ve made it this far we’re guessing you probably know who we are and are now very familiar with our love of leopard print.  What you may not know is that we take the privacy of our customers very seriously and consider it to be one of the most important aspects of running our website Tilbea London (“the site”).  We are in the business of selling clothes, not our customers information, so you can rest assured that we have no interest in selling, or swapping your personal data with other business for marketing or advertising purposes.  Please don’t just take our word for it, read our privacy policy; the policy sets out the different areas where user privacy is concerned and outlines the obligations & requirements of the users, the website and website owners. Furthermore, the way this website processes, stores and protects user data and information will also be detailed within this policy.

What Personal Data Do We Collect?

When you visit our lovely Site we take a proactive approach to your privacy and ensure that the necessary steps are taken to protect you throughout your experience and, to set your mind at rest, we can happily inform you that our website complies with all UK national laws and requirements for user privacy.

Why Do We Collect It?

We need to collect your personal data to ensure we can fulfil orders you place through the Site.  We will not collect any personal data over and above that which we require to fulfil our customer obligations.

What Do We Use It For?

Firstly; POSTAGE – we use your personal data to send out all of lovely orders.

Secondly; EMAIL NEWSLETTERS

Our Site operates an email newsletter program, which we use to inform our lovely subscribers about products and services supplied by our Site, and or Sales and promotions you can enjoy by being a loyal customer.  You can subscribe through an online automated process should you wish to do so, but this is at your own discretion. Some subscriptions may be manually processed through prior written agreement with yourselves.

Subscriptions are taken in compliance with UK Spam Laws detailed in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. All personal details relating to subscriptions are held securely and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. No personal details are passed on to third parties nor shared with companies / people outside of the company that operates this website.

Email marketing campaigns published by this our Site may contain tracking facilities within the actual email. Subscriber activity is tracked and stored in a database for future analysis and evaluation. Such tracked activity may include; the opening of emails, forwarding of emails, the clicking of links within the email content, times, dates and frequency of activity [this is by no far a comprehensive list].

This information is used to refine future email campaigns and supply the user with more relevant content based around their activity.

In compliance with UK Spam Laws and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 subscribers are given the opportunity to un-subscribe at any time through an automated system. This process is detailed at the footer of each email campaign. If an automated un-subscription system is unavailable clear instructions on how to un-subscribe will by detailed instead.

Thirdly, CONTACT & COMMUNICATIONS

We love to hear from you, but please be advised that when contacting our Site and/or us you do this at your own discretion and provide any such personal details requested at your own risk. Your personal information is kept private and stored securely until such time that it is no longer required, or has no use, as detailed in the Data Protection Act 1998. Every effort has been made to ensure a safe and secure form for our email submission process but you use such forms at your own risk.

The Site, and its owners, us, will use any information submitted to provide you with further information about the products / services we offer, or to assist you in answering any questions or queries you may have submitted. We may also contact you for additional information, or to check our records or… most importantly to check that we have a happy customer.

How Long Do We Keep Data?

We are required to keep your personal data for a minimum of 6 years under UK Law.  However your personal information we use for marketing purposes will be retained for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Sharing Your Personal Data

We will only share your personal data with third party service providers to assist us in ensuring certain services are available to you.  For example we may use a third party to deliver your goods, or take payments online.  We will only ever use providers that we have confirmed apply appropriate data protection and security in accordance with Data Protection Legislation.

We use WooCommerce to power our the Site.  It is a dedicated and popular host for eCommerce and has its own privacy policy which can be found ( https://automattic.com/privacy/ ).  Your personal data cannot be collected or accessed from the Site by WooCommerce without our consent.

We use PayPal & Stripe to process your payments on line.  They are both regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority so you already have protection in place for your purchase if you are using PayPal or Stripe through our Site.

We do not store your payment card details.

Cookies

Sadly we aren’t talking about the salted caramel variety.  Cookies provide us with data from your device.  We use them to help us understand and improve the users experience of the Site.  Where applicable our Site uses a cookie control system allowing you, our lovely user, on your first visit to the website to allow or disallow the use of cookies on your computer/device.
